This balance payment will only be accepted as a cash only payment and we accept EURO, Turkish Lira, English pounds and US dollars. Passengers who want to pay via credit card will incur a credit card processing fee.

  • Ballooning Pamukkale will pick up from central hotels / hotels in Pamukkale, Denizli and Karayit. Pick ups from Denizli have extra cost, please contact us for further information.

  • You can choose different balloon sizes at time of booking. However, depending on what you pick will determine the price. Normally our standard balloons will fit a maximum of 24 people at any one time. The basket is evenly divided up in separate compartments, so the group size will be split up to give you all plenty of room to enjoy the amazing view and get your memorable photos.

  • From pick up time to drop off point, the whole experience takes about 2 hours in total. When you are picked up breakfast will take about 30 minutes whilst we get the balloon ready to fly. Flight time is usually 1 hour, unless you have booked a private tour and then the champagne ceremony on landing will also take about a further 30 minutes.

  • Ballooning Pamukkale will fly over the white terraced cliffs of Pamukkale and the Ancient Ruined City of Heirapolis. Our take off sights are normally different each day depending on the weather.

  • Balloons will normally fly anywhere from 4 kilometres to 20 kilometres depending on weather conditions and the wind speed at the time of your flight.

  • Our balloons will normally fly around tree level and to a maximum of 3,000 feet above the ground. We try to keep the balloon a little lower so afford our guests the best view of the amazing scenery before them.

  • Depending on the time of your flight, yes take off is just before sunrise so you can enjoy the amazing views and colours of the sun rising over this amazing landscape.

  • Normally as the basket's come down they will lightly touch the ground or slide along the ground. Sometimes our pilots can even get the balloon landed right on the trailer of the pick up crew. In faster winds the basket may even bounce or tip at an angle. However, please always know that our professional ground crew are there to get the balloon tied down and steadied quickly for your comfort.

  • This would be a very rare occurrence. Most flights will travel in one direction and land further away from the take off sight. Both take off point and landing points are in large open areas.

  • Our balloons are always followed by our ground crew. The ground crew will be there at time of landing to provide you with support to land, champagne ceremony and a transfer back to your hotel. You will always be back in time for any day tours you may have booked in for that day. In the case of any delays please advise your pilot of your other commitments should you have anything else booked in.

  • We always recommend that you wear long sleeves and long trousers on your flight. The reason being, is before sunrise and once up in the air, the temperatures can be a lot cooler than in the day time. As you will be in the basket for an hour we want you to be comfortable at all times. For those who are blessed with height we recommend a hat or something to cover your head to protect it from the balloon's burners.

  • It is advised you bring your camera, video cam or phone to capture your memories of this amazing experience. As advised earlier, don't forget to dress warm or even bring a jacket.

  • A balloon normally flies better in cooler conditions. This is why we like to try to fly before sunrise. Professional balloonist will fly just after dawn or before dusk to obtain the best lift and there is also less wind around at these times.

  • Yes our balloons fly 12 months of the year.

  • We will only ever cancel a balloon flight due to weather conditions. We will not fly in rain, fog, snow, thunderstorms or wind that is over 7mph. The pilot is essentially in charge and will do all his safety checks prior to take off. If he deems there to be a reason not suitable to fly, he will be in charge of that final decision. If your flight is cancelled it will be rescheduled or if you are leaving that day a full refund will be processed.

  • If you are pregnant or think you maybe pregnant than we highly recommend that you do not fly. Flying in this condition could be dangerous due to the chances of bumpy landing. If your family or travelling party is all flying, we are happy to take you to the take off and landing sites so you can enjoy this part of the adventure.

  • Children aged 0-5 are not allowed to fly. For maximum safety and the enjoyment of all our passengers children above this age who can not understand and comply with the preflight briefing and / or are not tall enough to see over the basket will also not be permitted to fly. All parents / guardians should be mindful of the full flight time as some children may get bored with a 1 hour flight time.

  • Balloons are registered like any other aircraft and are subject to regular air safety checks. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will not allow a balloon to be certified as airworthy unless these inspections and checks are done by authorised maintenance personnel who are specifically certified. All pilots are licensed by the FAA and have to pass regular flight checks.

  • The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issues a Balloon Pilot Certificate to candidates, who pass an FAA written examination, obtain a prescribed number of hours in a balloon, make a solo flight to altitude, pass a flight test, and submit a medical statement.

  • The Federal Aviation Administration controls ballooning with the same strict regulations that apply to airplanes.
